It's election time!
This is a reminder that membership will be able to vote on new board members on Tuesday January 10, 2023 via email by 6pm or in person at The Arts Garage (TAG) from 6-7pm.
Please email votes to ottawacountyarts@gmail.com. All email votes must be submitted by 6pm on Tuesday.
Our slate of officers has changed since the Christmas Party at Gideon Owen in December.
Candidates are:
For 2-year term as Vice-President: Keith Fleming
Keith's bio: Keith is a 1976 graduate of Port Clinton High School and earned an Associate’s Degree specializing in technology from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. Keith had a 30-year career in Dallas,TX, involving high end women’s retail, display and interior design. He moved back to Port Clinton and opened the Keith A. Fleming Art Gallery and Antiques. He has been a member of GPCAAC since 2012, having been on the board several times. He has been involved with Appetite for the Arts, multiple fundraisers and, outreach and shows. Currently Keith is working with mixed media projects, using primarily acrylic paints and assemblage work. Using found objects and modern material to create his visions, Keith is trying to utilize our overburdening and abundance of material waste to visually stimulate our minds.
For 3-year term as a Director: Cathy King
Cathy's bio: Cathy is an ux designer who grew up in Port Clinton and returned to her hometown in 2021. She has been the secretary for GPCAAC for the last six months and worked on the fall fundraiser team. She has a passion for all the arts, especially outsider art and theater. While not considering herself an artist, she loves to make and try new things. She has dabbled in quilting, woodworking and pastels of her furry family.
Votes for write-in candidates will be accepted.
