Evening Out with Art - April 14, 2022 at Schedel

Join the Greater Port Clinton Area Arts Council for April's Evening Out with Art, taking place at Schedel Arboretum & Gardens in Elmore on Thursday April 14 at 6pm.

Tickets are $10 per person and will include a tour of The Blair Museum of Lithophanes as well as look at the gardens in the early spring evening light. Wine can be purchased at an additional cost.

The Schedel Arboretum and Gardens is a 17-acre garden estate located at 19255 West Portage River South Road in Elmore, Ohio.

It's a nature experience unlike any other in Northwest Ohio.

Together, for more than 50 years, Joe and Marie Schedel lived, dreamed, planned and built this unique resource for the study and appreciation of Nature.

During their travels to more than 120 countries, the Schedel’s acquired unique and significant collections of art, antiques, jewelry, antique carved jade, archaic bronze and, most notably, plants.

The Schedel’s dream was to create a sanctuary based upon Nature where all would be welcome to visit and experience in perpetuity the wonder of their legacy.

Each year the beauty and serenity of this treasure brings thousands to the estate on the banks of the Portage River.

A group will be leaving The Arts Garage to Schedel starting at 5pm.

To reserve your spot, contact President Carol Morgan at 419-341-0979 or by email at ottawacountyarts@gmail.com.
